ERP Project Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead technical design meetings, and create technical specifications
- Analyze technical requirements for functional areas such as Finance, Production, etc.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the ERP platform.
- Develop, test and deploy new functionality based on evolving business needs.
- Design, maintain and enhance integrations with other applications / systems.
- Create, test, and implement custom coding and scripting.
- Create thorough documentation on technical infrastructure, integrations, nightly processes, etc. as well as any changes made to existing systems and processes.
- Maintains knowledge on the current and future versions of the company ERP system
- Attends trainings, conferences, and learning events as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or related experience is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience installing, designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining applications and databases in a Microsoft environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience participating in software deployment projects, specifically ERP implementations.
- Working with small to large projects and delivering against timelines.
- Administrating/implementing ERP Software required;
- EDI experience a plus.
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills while having the ability to communicate technical matters clearly in lay terms for full comprehension by technical and non-technical users.
- Understanding of standard business processes and data flows
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation of process/system designs and user procedures.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting project commitments.
- Experience in design, implementation, and support of backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Highly self-motivated and multi-task oriented with the ability to learn new concepts and job requirements quickly.
- Ability to work both independently with limited supervision, and in a collaborative team environment.
